Blog 6: How Can Your Major/Career Make the World a Better Place

 

Architecture is one of the few careers capable of, in my opinion, change to the world and do again it more sustainably,  ​it can change habits in people or communities, form buildings that don't consume as many elements, etc. because for example if a home has good ventilation, it would not be necessary to use supplements to relieve the climate in a given sector, which would decrease or would nullen the use of these elements, such as air conditioning, stoves, heaters, among others... what would cause less energies and fuels to be used, thus being thus with much more factors and elements such as used materials. Basically, a sequence of conditions is caused, making housing sectors more favourable and harm the ecosystem less, as long as it's well designed by architects and people in charge... Everything that is capable of granting and generating the architecture, is something that really inspires me and made the career I like even more. the know that it really brings about changes, not only from aesthetic, coexistence or meeting, but also ecological; personally with these topics I try to learn and inform myself of everything I can, in order to carry out the architecture in the best possible way, visually impacting, but in turn taking care of the ecosystem and all its variants.
